IT Outsourcing

The purpose of IT Outsourcing

IT outsourcing is a service model whereby a company uses an external service provider to perform IT tasks. This allows the company to focus its own resources on other important business activities. The benefits of IT outsourcing include cost savings, access to expertise, flexibility and faster time to market.

Main types of IT Outsourcing

On-site administrator

The specialist works on the client's premises and Available full or part-time, even on specific days. Ideal for larger companies where a daily presence is required.

Remote administrator

The administrator or his/her team works primarily from the service provider's office, so operates the systems remotely. On request, they can be sent out to the customer's premises.

Ad hoc aid

For occasional tasks, the company only uses an administrator service when it really needs one. Primarily for smaller companies or companies with a stable IT environment.

Good to know!

Temporary agency work and outsourcing are two different concepts that are often confused, but there are important differences between them.

Outsourcing of tasks

Outsourcing is the process whereby a company uses an external service provider to perform certain tasks or activities. Outsourcing allows a company to focus its own resources on other important business activities.

In outsourcing, the company pays a contractual fee to the external service provider.

Not temporary agency work

Temporary agency work is when one company (the lender) temporarily provides workers to another company (the borrower).

The lending company is responsible for paying the wages and benefits of the employees and for administrative tasks. The borrowing company, in turn, manages and supervises the day-to-day activities of the workers. This solution can be particularly useful for seasonal or project-based work, where the company needs additional temporary staff.

In a temporary agency agreement, the company providing the workers pays their wages and benefits.
